About the event
RéCreate – David’s Harp is a four-day retreat and workshop in Moravian Falls, NC, led by the Evergreen team. This experience blends hands-on craftsmanship with rest, worship, and connection with nature.
Over the course of the retreat, participants will build a seven-string lyre from start to finish. This intensive workshop teaches basic woodworking skills, guiding you through the entire process of transforming raw wood into a finished instrument. Each participant will take their completed lyre home.
Throughout the retreat, we’ll pause for reflection and discussion, exploring what we’re learning and how it applies to our spiritual lives as followers of Jesus—iron sharpening iron.
The retreat will take place in our new shop at Evergreen Farm in Moravian Falls. Food and lodging are provided. Each participant will stay in a private guest house or guest room, creating space to disconnect from the busyness of everyday life and focus on what God…
