Rise & Go: A New Year, A New Yes to God’s Call

There’s something powerful about crossing into a new year. It’s as if God whispers again, “This is a fresh beginning. A fresh commissioning. A fresh yes.”

As I look at 2026, I feel the Lord inviting us—not just individually, but collectively as the body of Christ—to rise, go, and step boldly into the harvest that is waiting. The words spoken to Joshua ring loudly today:

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9

And the commission in Acts reminds us of our calling:

“I have made you a light… that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” — Acts 13:47

This is not just biblical poetry. This is our present assignment.

A New Year Means a New Yes

You may feel inadequate.

You may feel unprepared.

You may feel busy, overwhelmed, or unsure.

But God has always used ordinary people with willing hearts to accomplish extraordinary things.

This year, your yes matters.

Not just for you—but for the nations God wants to touch through you.

Your Yes Matters More Than You Think

This year, don’t just dream about missions—step into it.

Don’t just talk about the Great Commission—live it.

Don’t wait for the perfect moment—create the moment by saying yes.

2026 is a blank page in God’s story.

And He is inviting you to write your yes on it.

Rise. Go. And let this be the year you say, “Lord, send me.”
